GetHelp

Privacy

This tool exists so people who need a meeting can find one without fear. We do not sell your data. We do not build a profile of you. Your search is yours. Your next step is yours. We treat that trust as sacred. No account required.

Your search

When you search, we send only the place text you typed to geocoding providers (OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and Mapbox if configured) and to public meeting feeds so we can show nearby meetings. We do not keep a personal searchable history of your queries. We do not invent meetings from private records.

Calendar

Add to calendar creates an event on your device or with Google Calendar or Outlook. That content stays with you or the calendar service you choose. We do not store your calendar.

Site reliability (GA4)

We may use Google Analytics 4 only to keep GetHelp reliable: whether pages load, whether the site stays healthy, and basic traffic volume. We do not use GA4 for advertising, remarketing, or to profile your recovery. We do not sell analytics data. We do not keep a personal log of what you searched or which meetings you opened. You can limit analytics in your browser and with Google's opt-out tools at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Who may see a request

To answer a search we may call Nominatim or Mapbox (place lookup), public fellowship feeds (BMLT, Meeting Guide / TSML), SAMHSA FindTreatment.gov for U.S. treatment listings, and MyMemory if you ask to translate notes. Hosting may process routine server logs such as IP address and request time so the site can run. Those parties receive only what is needed for that request. None of this is sold.

Your rights

You can use GetHelp without creating a profile. Where the law gives you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data about you, we will honor them in good faith. If we cannot identify you in our systems, we will say so plainly.
